Welcome Back Picnic, Wed. 8/30

The Sewanee Civic Association would like to invite the community to a welcome back picnic, Wednesday, August 30, at St. Mark’s Hall, Otey Parish. The picnic will begin at 5:30 p.m. Meet representatives from organizations funded by your Community Chest contributions! This event is free.

The menu includes fried chicken, roasted red potatoes, baked beans, and cole slaw. In order to ensure there is enough food, a reservation is requested by Friday, August 25. This year, the SCA is celebrating 109 years of civic opportunities in the community. The association brings community members together for social and service awareness. The SCA is the sponsoring organization for Cub Scout Pack 152, the Parks Committee, Sewanee Classifieds and the Sewanee Community Chest. Any adult who resides in the area and shares concerns of the community is invited to participate and become a member.

Annual dues of $10 are payable at the door.
