The Sewanee Community Chest depends on donations to support the community. There are 26 organizations this year that have requested basic needs funding for quality of life, community aid, children’s programs, and those who are beyond Sewanee but still serve our entire community. The Sewanee Community Chest has established a goal of $116,850 to help these 26 organizations and initiatives. With your support, we will be able to continue to provide aid where it matters most: elder care, food, books, housing, scholarships to attend pre-K school, spay/neuter programs for animals, recreational spaces and funding for the local elementary school.
